Lending a Hand to Help Vitims of Hurricane Katrina

Wilmot Modular's staff have been working hard to aide the many people affected by Hurricane Katrina.

EasyGo™ Restroom

The EasyGo™ is a mobile wheelchair accessible Family Change Room. It provides a suitable restroom facility that families caring for children and young adults with developmental disabilities can use with ease and privacy.

Since many event venues have varying degrees of accessibility, the EasyGo™ was built to accommodate all attendees and allows those with developmental disabilities to attend and enjoy events along with others in their community.

The EasyGo™ was designed by using the suggestions from families in the special needs community and incorporating the expertise of providers of mobile buildings. The original intent was to create an alternative option for families who historically find that "handicapped accessible" restrooms are really not suitable for their situations. But in reality, the EasyGo™ has a far greater impact. It allows families caring for children and young adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to rejoin their communities as a whole family. No longer would a family need to limit the amount of time spent at an event or require parents to split up in order to accommodate the needs of all their children.

As the design of the EasyGo™ develops through family focus groups, surveys and studies of its use, the data will allow us to create a building with a universal design. The EasyGo™ will be a building that is truly inclusive where it can serve the needs of everyone in the community!

Dustin Bauer Fund

Ways to Make a Difference

Dustin Bauer Memorial Fund is a Non-Profit Organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code effective as of April 7th, 2008. Since 2008, we are proud to have made numerous contributions to students, athletic programs, grant programs for tuition assistance & facility improvements at Calvert Hall College High School, Mount Saint Mary's University & the National Shrine Grotto Lady of Lourdes, Emmitsburg, MD!

The Dustin Bauer Memorial Fund provides monetary donations for scholarship contributions of educational and athletic purposes to students at Calvert Hall College High School (Towson, MD) and Mount Saint Mary's University (Emmitsburg, MD). A large portion of the money raised will go to the Dustin Bauer Scholarship, which is part of the Tuition Assistance program at Calvert Hall and helps to provide scholarship and grant money to the students. The Development Office is then able to offer support to students to help aid in the continuance of their higher education. Monetary donations will also be used in supporting the Cross Country & Track teams at Calvert Hall. At Mount St. Mary's we have created the Dustin Bauer Memorial Award for Leadership in the Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business.
