If you think offering your employees a life-saving course is a waste of time and money, perhaps you should talk to Wilmot Modular employees.
Just one day after completing a company-sponsored class in C.P.R. and the Heimlich maneuver, two Wilmot Modular employees had an opportunity to put those new skills to work. Dana Cowan and Lori Fitch were seated at a local restaurant for lunch, when a customer in a wheelchair began to choke. Recognizing the emergency, Lori administered the Heimlich maneuver until the obstruction was dislodged.
There were kudos all around for Lori and Dana for their quick action, and to Wilmot Modular management who thought it was important enough to train their employees in this valuable skill. |
