IBC - Chapter Twelve: Minimum Ceiling Heights
As one might expect, many codes are contingent on the use and occupancy of the building. Hazardous or high flammability areas require stricter codes and higher occupancies especially by those that may need assistance in an emergency would also require stricter codes. Knowing complete information about the project is essential to determine the proper product to use.
