Empowering the Next Generation: Wilmot's Dedication to Junior Achievement Leading Ladies

Posted by Wilmot Modular on November 9, 2023

At Wilmot, we take great pride in being Role Model Sponsors for Junior Achievement Leading Ladies, a chapter of Junior Achievement of Central Maryland — a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people for success. We're privileged to have a dedicated group of our own exceptional Wilmot ladies who are generous enough to share their support, talents, and skills to empower the young ladies associated with this remarkable initiative. We extend our gratitude to Kathy, Barbara, Jessica, Lisa, and Meiling for their invaluable contributions.

Junior Achievement Leading Ladies is a program that forges connections between accomplished businesswomen and exceptional high school students in the Baltimore area. This platform is a celebration of achievements, a nurturing ground for talents, an exploration of new opportunities, and a spark of inspiration for the next generation of women leaders.

This November, our Wilmot role models had the privilege of attending The 2023 JA Leading Ladies event at the Stanley Black & Decker Innovation Center. The morning was brimming with a celebration of the strength and influence of women at various life stages. It also provided participants with knowledge and confidence to advance their career aspirations and broaden their networks.

The event embraced the hands-on Junior Achievement philosophy by offering interactive student-mentor activities. These activities provided real-world experiences that inspire and assist young individuals in planning for their future paths.

Junior Achievement Leading Ladies is fully dedicated to empowering high school girls through a transformative journey of learning and mentorship. Its goal is to motivate these young individuals to dream big and equip them with the tools to thrive on their future journeys. Wilmot is both proud and excited to be a part of this dynamic movement.
