Supporting Local Schools in Action

Recently, Wilmot was proud to sponsor two impactful school fundraising events in our community:

St. Joseph School Fun Run 

This year’s event raised an incredible $62,000, supporting: new laptops and Chromebooks, updated classroom technology and equipment for a new turf field.

The fundraiser concluded with an exciting, all-school celebration—kicking off with a fun run and culminating in a vibrant color run, where students ran, danced, and moved together, showcasing the energy, excitement, and strong sense of community that make these schools so special.

St. John’s School Race for Education

The annual Race for Education is the school’s largest fundraiser, with a goal of $35,000. Over a three-week period, students and families rallied support from friends, neighbors, alumni, and coworkers. The celebration culminated in students running laps with their classmates around the school parking lot, followed by well-deserved frozen treats to celebrate their efforts. Funds raised directly support tuition assistance, classroom needs, and essential school supplies.

Events like this not only raise critical funds—they bring communities together around a shared purpose.

A Broader Commitment to Education

Our support doesn’t stop at individual events. Wilmot is proud to contribute to schools across our communities through a variety of initiatives, including:

• -Donating backpacks and school supplies to local students
• -Providing monetary donations to public schools in need
• -Supplying computers, furniture, and classroom resources
  -Sponsoring school golf tournaments and fundraising events
• -Funding security and campus improvements to help create safer learning environments

These efforts are all part of our ongoing commitment to support both private and public schools and ensure students have access to the tools and environments they need to succeed.
