Welding Production Supervisor 

Maryland 

Position overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced certified Senior Welder with Fabricator experience to join our dynamic team as a Productions Supervisor. 

This individual will play a critical role in our operations, requiring a blend of technical welding expertise, fabrication skills, and management capabilities.

Key Responsibilites:

Blueprint Interpretation and Design:

  • Expertise in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modifying fabrication plans desired but not mandatory for this role.
Estimation and Pricing:

  • Ability to accurately estimate project costs, including labor, materials, and time.
  • Proficient in pricing jobs, ordering parts, and managing production budgets.
Management and Leadership:

  • Oversee a team of welders and fabricators, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to manage employee schedules, task assignments, and project timelines.
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and train junior staff.
Production and Schedule Management:

  • Competent in managing production schedules to meet tight deadlines.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced welding skills in various techniques and materials. (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux)
  • Experience in metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, and assembling parts.
Microsoft Office Suite:

  • Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication.
Safety and Quality Assurance:

  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and 5S principles in all work areas.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Welder and Fabricator.
  • Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication.
  • Demonstrated experience in CAD design and blueprint reading.
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in estimating, pricing, and production scheduling.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Salary will be based on Experience.   
  • References mandatory. 
  • Previous work portfolio desired to be viewed.
